Vanity
Cackling cacophony in the vicinity"
bickered an observing Duck.
"Ducklings that sink in water
as clear as my shiny feathers
Will swim best 'gainst the tide of the pond
And in the sesame oil of the Cook's pan.
Tadpoles that live as fast as they die
never know their mother
Yet guide themselves better in waters"
"Pooh! A duckling that can't swim!
What ominous box'll be opened next,
Ducklings that wish to soar aloft
Like the Skylark?"
The passing hands'd maimed past pains.
The complaining bird with feathers
as white as December snow
,too, was once a yellow mess.
The young nincompoop
,too, had longed to flap her wings
and explore the endless sky,
The pining fool climbed the nearest hedge
only to betray her dreams.
She, too, was a terrible swimmer;
the slowest of her siblings
Had Mother Duck missed to see her
in the twirling current,
her bickering
like her silvery feathers would've glided
in Eternity
Where dreams meet
and Pride ends.
Orpheus and Eurydice II
wailed upon the strand of Styx
and whilst Cheron turned awry,
the enchanter of Olympians
ruptured a dirge to his errs.
"Eurydice, thy visage
that entwines
The lyre with the heart,
A sole gaze to tune
the requiems rhapsodies"
"Thou, wing-footed
Hermes
bring me my soul
from her captivity that
captivates my Mirth"
"Or a breath of wish
Breathed by my
Whisperer of Dreams"
"In this ravished melody,
Let unravished notes
tune the strings".
I invoke thee, Melancholy

Consolation, 3,May, 2019
It only serves as the threshold
to many a grove you'd encounter.
Here may exert a forbidding force
Accompanied by a confining condition.
But do not... No, never reconsider,
Yet abstain those laity lust.
False dreams topple down the biggest of concretes
And soften the solid structures like brittle Chinese.
But yields endless nectar.
Fret not too, the shrieking succubus
Cannot set foot in the overgrown;
The slightest sight of green repels them
Such confine their nauseating narcissistic
selves far from the threshold .
Halfway in your journey
A halfway distraction soils fully
Nor seek for them beyond the thicket
For it cuts the full journey halfway.
Seek only that feeds the heart
And not any that pleases above or below.
A traveler's companion is his will,
Foreign objects only weigh down the weary limbs.
And all that clatters.
A person with a hungry stomach
can measure the highest of mountains.
A person with a hungry mind can fathom ranges of mountains.
A slanting slope empties the downpour.
You can ,not because you feel you can
but because you know you can.
My brother, let your companion shield
you against the fiercest beasts of temptations
And lead you beyond the groves.

Orpheus and Eurydice
Sans thee, Eurydice,
No Orpheus can
rupture numbers gay.
Come great Hermes,
With thee, let I cross
The Styx for Cheron
Passes no mortal
Nor do Cereberus.
Naught at the behind have I to peak.
No Icarus I shall be
And look thee who'st behind I.
Come, fair Eurydice,
For forlorn forbids
And ecstasy esacalates.

And here I come
Graying every touch of mine;
The blooming rosebud withers
And the perching sparrow on the twisted twig
Drops to join the brown below.
Serenity prevails
Ceasing every action;
The wind, the bickering, the passing of the hands
The melting lava beneath solidifies
As my feet treads the surface.
Here,
I lift my veil
And mark whom I should carry next.
Is it a desperate lover
Or the young mother who just
gave birth to a fair daughter?
I have grown tired of the wrinkled
Who can't keep up my pace.
No,
I won't take the ones
Who seek for I
But rather the ones
Who yield to defy and escape me
Rest my interest.
No,
I am not a terror
I don't bring despair
Yet only balance.
I can't be here long.
I know no respite nor do I procrastinate
When I am to, I take whom I seek
And leave for my next visit.

Wavy Visages
For this moment, let us rest over the edge of the plank
and focus on our reflected images upon the waves.
While we are beholding our wavy visages,
let us not forget the blue firmament merrily joining us.
The passing clouds have never looked more animated.
The green urchins on the bed know our sincerity
and dance to decorate our ever beautiful view.
While we are here, let us not forget to embrace
the chilly breeze blushing our cheeks red.
The blue, the green and the red have never conspired more colourful.
The sweet scent of the old bark
much different to the fumes of the cities,
The clattering waters over the foams
is music to these ears adapted to bickerings.
We need not bribe nor stand in tedious queues
with weary perspiration to acess this solace.
If only we had gills and fins
to be in this grace for now and forever more.
